Closing Concert of the 3rd Conductor Master Class with Franco Cesarini and José Rafael Pascual-Vilaplana. 

As a final touch to the third edition of the Conductor Master Class organized by Bilbao Musika, Friday, January 11, will be held at the Conservatory J. Crisóstomo de Arriaga, the closing concert of this project in which, young band conductors have worked during this week with the Municipal Band of Bilbao.

From 18:00 onwards, great works by Wagner, Huber, Goorhuis and Cesarini himself will be heard. Admission will be free until full capacity.

It will be a special concert, because in addition to having the participation as guest teacher, of the Swiss conductor and composer Franco Cesarini, the teachers of the band will select five people who will direct them in the said concert.

At the end of the closing concert, a jury composed of Franco Cesarini (guest professor), Maite Aurrekoetxea (conductor, director of the JC Conservatory of Arriaga de Bilbao) and teachers of the Municipal Band will select the winner of the contest, who will get as a prize to be the guest conductor in the concert of the Municipal Band of Bilbao for the 2019-2020 season scheduled for Friday, September 20, in the Atrium of Azkuna Zentroa.

Als letzten Schliff für die dritte Ausgabe der von Bilbao Musika organisierten Dirigenten-Masterclass findet am Freitag, den 11. Januar im Konservatorium J. Crisóstomo de Arriaga das Abschlusskonzert dieses Projekts statt, an dem junge Banddirigenten wòhrend der Woche mit der Municipal Band von Bilbao gearbeitet haben.

Ab 18:00 Uhr erklingen großartige Werke von Wagner, Huber, Goorhuis und Cesarini selbst. Der Eintritt ist bis zur vollen Kapazität frei.

Es wird ein besonderes Konzert, denn neben der Teilnahme des Schweizer Dirigenten und Komponisten Franco Cesarini als Gastlehrer werden die Lehrer der Band fünf Personen auswählen, die sie bei diesem Konzert leiten werden.

Am Ende des Abschlusskonzerts wählt eine Jury aus Franco Cesarini (Gastprofessor), Maite Aurrekoetxea (Dirigentin, Direktorin des JC-Konservatoriums von Arriaga de Bilbao) und Lehrern der Städtischen Musikkapelle den Gewinner des Wettbewerbs aus erhalten Sie als Preis den Gastdirigenten beim Konzert der Städtischen Musikkapelle von Bilbao für die Saison 2019-2020, das für Freitag, den 20. September, im Atrium von Azkuna Zentroa geplant ist.
