Edition Franco Cesarini successfully launched in the USA at the 77th Midwest Clinic, December 20 – 22, 2023

1 January 2024

Mission Statement: “The Midwest Clinic strengthens international instrumental music education through extensive professional development opportunities, inspirational experiences and cultivation of rewarding professional relationships.”

The Midwest Clinic International Band and Orchestra Conference is the world’s largest instrumental music education conference, annually drawing approximately 17,000 attendees to Chicago from all 50 U.S. States and as many as 40 countries. It is held every December in downtown Chicago.

Like in previous years the 77th Midwest Clinic, has offered guests interested in music education a great number of clinics and exhibits, as well as access to music and teaching icons. Not to mention the numerous concerts which have taken place during the 3 days of the show. The conference also focused on industry trends and future topics in business and music education.

This year for the first time publications by Edition Franco Cesarini were hosted by Hal Leonard, its world-wide distributor and allocated in the section reserved to European Partners. Both conductors and musicians showed much interest in Edition Franco Cesarini  and in all works published under the Maestro’s label. Conductors were particularly happy to see the score of the Greek Folk Song Suite No. 2 since its predecessor has been a big success in the U.S. Much interest was also shown for the recent arrangements of classical music by the Maestro. Last but not least, conductors coming from the Chicago area were proud to see their city as subject of the Symphony no. 3 – “Urban Landscapes”.

Overall a successful launch of Edition Franco Cesarini on the US market!
